NEED FOR A CHANGE IN CAR OWNER ORIENTATION

The past few days had been filled with car troubles. From a Honda 2002 Oddysey with a transmission problem to a 2001 Toyota Sienna with a faulty ignition keyhole. Obviously with different problems. But come to think of it both cars looked good and absolutely in good working condition prior to their sudden "lock down". Most people think that using cars is all about having a nice ride about town, painting the neighbourhood "red", getting the most expensive aesthetics and powerful audio visuals to excite on lookers and so on.
Basically, owning a car, or driving one for that matter goes beyond the leg-to-pedal propulsion that we engage in everyday, it is a culture that has come to stay, right from college, young fresh men and women already have the knowledge of major brands of automobiles, driven on so many roads and of course, many more would have found it a gruesome the daily inspection and walk around that's required for all automobiles.
Your car is a machine, it has a heart,(engine) the soul/Mind(ECU) and a body(Chassis). It is from here that most people get lost in the world of automobiles. From here, some quack artisans could then become very easily convinced that the charges on the vehicle were way below obtainable charges. What am I trying t tell you here with all my intro? Simple, you must know your car by yourself. Know its basic operating components so that you will not totally be at a loss and at the receiving end when your car "misbehaves".  It is not enough to trust mechanics or technicians completely with the care of your car. For instance, If they make an adjustment to a position switch that ought not be tampered with at all and you ignorantly and desperately out of your sheer 'intuition' that it could work and bridged a circuit thereby causing a potential difference to be generated across an insulated region, that alone could bring up the car into flames. So, my advice is that car owners should learn some basic rudiments of their cars, the functions and basic understanding of how some of the components behave under certain circumstances.
Next time I will discuss in details the problems of the two cars that I had to go up'against'.
Well, till then have a safe and a productive week ahead. Cheers

Car Security at a Glance

For those who own cars, having it protected by the latest car security systems is crucial. However, car owners find it difficult in deciding the best security system that will guarantee safety of their vehicles. Because of the price of the security systems, some car owners avoid installing them. Even though the price of the security systems is high, car owners are likely to pay more in the event of the car being stolen. No matter the type of vehicle one has, they must be fitted with functioning security systems. Car security systems act as a deterrent to car thieves, and thieves are likely to steal cars that do not have some form of security system.

There are many types of security systems available in the market today. Some of these systems are inbuilt with the car, while others are bought separately. Despite the various security systems, they can be grouped in three categories: inaudible systems, audible systems and ignition system immobilizers. The most widely used and preferred form of car security is the audible security system. The system works by producing a sound alert whenever unauthorized persons try to access the car. To reduce the chances of the alarm going off without reason, users can be able to set the alarms sensitivity level.

Speedily I would want to suggest a very trusted link below

CAR THEFT PREVENTION USING VEHICLE TRACKING SYSTEM

A level playing field has been created in the ownership of cars since boom in auto ownershipAccording to the Dept. of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics, car ownership costs are the second largest household expense in the U.S.
Motoring was a luxury hobby in 1900. The number of cars on the roads began to rise during the 1920s as manufacturers started to make small, lightweight and cheaper vehicles for a wider market. Driving licences issued to London addresses rose from 100,000 in 1920 to 261,000 in 1930. As the number of cars on London's streets steadily increased, so did the number of road accidents. By the 1920s, an average of three people a day died in London as a result of traffic accidents. The 1920s saw the first traffic-control measures appearing in central London in the form of manually operated traffic lights and white line road markings. In fact, the average household spends almost as much on their cars as they do on food and health care combined for their entire family

Since all households have only a limited amount of income, the amount a household spends on its car(s) is lost money they could have spent on other worthwhile expenditures, like saving for retirement, education, or the purchase of a home. So,the question is "What Happens when the car gets stolen?" and there is still mortgage to be balanced and the premium is not yet mature in case of insured vehicles?

Here are a few tips to protect your car from being stolen.

  1. Always keep out valuables from your car.
  2. Make sure you park your car in a very open space with a very good parking space
  3. Always lock up every door and wind up every door
  4. Make use of your brake locks and clutch locks
  5. Don't stop abruptly in the middle of no where unnecessarily
